Your 30 Hours Flight Training
Your journey to the skies is broken down into bite-sized, confidence-building steps. You’ll start with around 15 hours of dual instruction, where our instructors guide you through take-offs, landings and all the basics. Next comes approximately 6 hours of supervised solo flying—including at least one cross-country flight of 150 km with a landing away—so you can practice navigation and decision-making on your own. To make sure you’re fully prepared, we include up to 9 hours of additional dual or solo time, tailored to your learning pace. Finally, you’ll complete a skills test in one of our two-seat trainers to demonstrate your competence as Pilot in Command. This structured approach means you’ll build confidence steadily, with plenty of support every step of the way.

Medical & Age Requirements
To get your LAPL(A), you’ll need a Part-MED LAPL Medical Certificate – it’s valid for five years if you’re under 40 and two years if you’re 40 or over. Training can start from age 14 with an instructor, you can fly solo at 16, and you’ll receive your licence once you turn 17. These simple milestones and straightforward medical requirements help keep your path to the cockpit as clear and stress-free as possible.
